Globes

“Globes” Israel’s financial newspaper, in cooperation with Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) is launching the third SmartUp competition for Israeli start-ups. As part of the program, “Globes” correspondents will track four startups, which will receive assistance of experts from technology incubators and accelerators and high-tech advisers of Bank Hapoalim. The basis of the program is that many companies with good, groundbreaking ideas get stuck in the initial stages, resulting in their failure to realize their potential.
The program is designed for Israeli start-ups which have already raised at least $100,000 in initial capital. All the companies selected for the program will receive, for three months, advice from high-tech and business experts in a range of fields important to the new startups, including marketing, financing, personnel management, and heading overseas.
